As part of running those services we collect data about you and your business.This data is not only essential to provide our services, but also critical for the safety of our services and all our users.

  • Users: refers to the individual, company, or organization that signs up to use Mech Connect Garage Management System Service to manage garage operations and it’s customers

Most information collected is provided by the Users of Mech Connect GMS while registering and using the software. Other data is collected during interactions with the software

Upon registering as a user on our software or visiting our website to subscribe to our software services you voluntarily give us certain information.The information which is used to identify the user includes name,email,phone number,workshop details,workshop address,personal password, employee details, employee roles & employee password.

We use your account & contact information in order to provide our services, to answer your requests, and for billing and account management reasons. We may also use this information for marketing and communication purposes (our marketing messages always come with a way for you to opt-out at any time). We also use this data in anonymised form in order to analyze service trends.

 

  • Browser Data:

When you visit our website and access our software services, we detect and store your browser language and geolocation in order to customize your experience according to your country and preferred language.

We only collect and process this data on your behalf, in order to perform the services you have subscribed to, and based on the instructions you explicitly gave when you registered or configured your service on Mech Connect GMS.

 

Our personnel may access this information in a limited and reasonable manner in order to solve any issue with our services, or at your request for support reasons, or as required by law, or to ensure the security of our services in case of violation of our Acceptable Use Policy in order to keep our services secure.

Accessing, Updating or Deleting Your Information

  • You may contact us during our working hours 8:00 am – 5:00pm on our support number and at any time on our chat/email to request access,record errors, updates or deletion of your application information.
  • You can manage any data collected in your account on www.mechconnect.app at any time, using your administration credentials, including modifying or deleting any personal data or customer data stored therein.
  • We realize how important and sensitive your personal data is, and we take a great number of measures to ensure that this information is securely processed, stored and preserved from data loss and unauthorized access.
  • We will not collect or use specific personal information beyond the described purpose of use nor share it with a third party as stated in the ‘’Computer and Cybercrime Act’’ & ‘’Data Privacy Policy’’

  • User & User shared data is always transferred and stored in encrypted (encryption in transit and at rest) both in production and in backups form in a dedicated database with no sharing of data between Users – All data communications to client instances are protected SSL encryption certificates.
  • User passwords are protected with encryption, ensuring secure storage and transmission.Mech Connect Solutions personnel cannot access or retrieve passwords, only allowing resets if lost.

Data Retention

 

We will retain your personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected as laid out in this policy, including any legal retention period,  If there is a complaint or potential litigation, we may keep your data longer. When you cancel the service your account is kept deactivated for 3 weeks (the grace period during which you can change your mind), and then destroyed.

 

Factors such as the type and sensitivity of the data, the risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure, the purposes for processing the data, and adherence to internal policies and legal requirements determine the retention period. Anonymized information that is no longer linked to you may be retained indefinitely.
